Marcin Piatkowski

Marcin Piatkowski is a distinguished Professor of Economics at Kozminski University in Warsaw, the highest-ranked business school in Central and Eastern Europe, and a leading economist at a prestigious international financial institution based in Washington, DC. With extensive experience in the finance and economic sectors, he previously served as Chief Economist and Managing Director of PKO BP, the largest bank in Central and Eastern Europe. Additionally, Marcin has held key positions at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), working as an economist in the European Department and as an advisor to the IMF’s Executive Director. Notably, he provided advisory services to Poland’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance.

Marcin plays a pivotal role in supporting countries to accelerate economic development, enhance innovation, and promote sustainable growth. He has been invited to deliver impactful speeches at renowned institutions such as Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Yale, Berkeley, Dartmouth, Oxford, Cambridge, the London School of Economics, and Peking University, among others.
